Our story
We are a property development company based in London with over 35 years’ combined experience in the property and construction industries. We have an enviable reputation of maximising development potential and exceeding our investors’ expectations. Coming from wide ranging backgrounds, our founding team have worked together in the built environment of London for many years and have a deep-seated alignment of values that continues to drive the company forward.

Brad Allnutt
Director
Brad is a Co-founder and Director of EGC and has been fundamental in building the current property portfolio to over £10m in value since September 2015. Having studied architecture at the University of Auckland and with over 10 years’ experience in the NZ and UK construction industries, Brad brings a unique approach to EGC by combining creative design principles with the practicalities of construction. Brad's knowledge of property acquisition, planning policy, tender/project management and capital raising for the various stages of a project enables him to provide valuable input to not only each project but to EGC’s strategic direction.
Luke Simpson
Director
Luke has spent the last 17 years immersed in London property having co-founded the market leading estate agency Aston Rowe which sold it’s lettings and property management division to Foxtons for a record price in 2020. Soon after arriving from New Zealand in 2007, Luke completed a MSc in Property Development at the University of Aberdeen. Having successfully built up a personal portfolio of residential property throughout the UK his expertise is in property acquisition, deal structuring, maximising value and the on-going property management of the assets.

Mark Campbell
Director
Mark has over 12 years’ experience with well-known real estate firms in NZ, the UK and Europe and has worked across sectors of the built environment during that time. He is a Co-founder and Director at EGC and having led real estate funds of up to £6 billion in value across multiple countries has extensive experience in investment and asset management, finance, cashflow modelling, capital raising and property acquisitions and disposals. Mark has degrees in both Property and Finance and brings a well-rounded skill set to the team enabling a measured approach to get the best out of each project whilst ensuring investor returns are maximised and risks fully accessed.

Land and Property acquisition
We have a dedicated land team who look after land acquisition and management thereafter in a transparent and authentic approach. Our land team are focussed on acquiring development sites and efficiently resolving any difficult challenges that are faced along the way. Our negotiations when acquiring land are always honest, reasonable and transparent. As a boutique developer we can move quickly to resolve any issues and evaluate complex matters with haste.
Planning and design
We undertake a rigorous process of site assessment, scheme development, pre-application, scheme refinement and then a full planning application for each of our sites. The initial steps often give us confidence to purchase sites without planning, in the knowledge that given the local planning context and our expertise, we will be able to achieve a positive and successful planning outcome.
Capital raising
We are experienced and successful at raising capital for a range of acquisitions and developments of varying complexities and risk including investment loans, bridging finance, and development facilities. We have built long term relationships in the capital markets which enables us to move with speed and certainty on a range of projects.
Project management
Our project team plans and controls every aspect of the project lifecycle from concept to design, implementation and completion. Our project management service includes the definition, leadership, planning, stakeholder management, control and successful delivery of all of our projects. We have over 10 years working on complex sites with a track of delivering on time, every time.
Property management
Our full-service offering continues after construction is completed. Working with our property management partners, we always look to establish long term relationships with each and every one of our homeowners, while their properties are managed in a professional and empathetic manner. Additionally, our experience ensures any building, renovation or maintenance is completed on a timely and cost-efficient basis.
